How a common man with small business can get his "GSTIN" with some simple steps. Now a days we all know that nobody is ready to do business with you if you don't have a "GSTIN". People like real estate agents, brokers, consultants or other services, all types of agents and those who work from online who don't have a registered place of business can also get their own "GSTIN" by registering at GST portal.
The time span to get a "GSTIN" number is just 10 days. The required documents are PAN, proof of place of business & bank statements where you receive your business income. Adhar card is optional,but remember without PAN you can't start the registration process.
Second thing you should have your scanned copies of photo , proof of business and bank statement, no need to scan your PAN card and Addhar card. Proof of place of business can be your electricity bill, municipal tax paid receipt, rent agreement and its scanned copy to upload.If you work from online and if you don't have a registered place for your business than you can attach your own electricity bill but make sure your address of place of business and address on electricity bill should not be differ from each other. In case you have a place of business and its your own than attach electricity bill of that place, But if it is not your's own than please make a rent agreement. Please note having appreciate and correct documents for GST registration can save you from any future risk.

So first you need to visit the "GST "web portal and register your PAN than based on your pan you Will be provided with a "TRN", with this "TRN" you can login and fill the form and submit it.This TRN will valid for 19 days only, So you need to submit it with 19 days. After that your submitted form will go for processing and after processing you will get "ARN" number and your login credentials will be emailed to you.
